Electric Ireland announced today (Friday, 20th February) that it will reduce its standard unit price for all its residential gas customers by 2.5% from April 1st 2015.
Commenting on the announcement, Jim Dollard, Executive Director Electric Ireland said; “Electric Ireland reduced electricity prices by 2% last November and we are now happy to announce a reduction of 2.5% for over 130,000 Electric Ireland residential gas customers. This reinforces our commitment to offering the best value and exceptional customer care in a very competitive market.”
The result of the decrease for a typical household will be a saving of €20.83 per year (including VAT, based on a usage of 13,800 kWh).
