Following a competitive process, under the Office of Government Procurement Framework Agreement, Electric Ireland has been chosen to supply electricity to a number of HSE facilities that includes 1,900 meter points in hospitals, nursing homes, regional health boards, charities, HSE offices and rehabilitation centres across the Republic of Ireland. The two year contract is worth approximately €85 million and Electric Ireland has committed to supplying one third of electricity from renewable resources.
This successful contract bid reinforces Electric Ireland’s position as the leading electricity supplier for Irish businesses and organisations, emphasising its competitive offering as well as its ability to handle and service large volume contracts.
