ESB Networks continue to restore electricity supply with approximately 10,000 customers currently without supply, a number of which are due to Storm Brian. Customers who experience a new service interruption should report it on or call 1850 372 999.

Important Public Safety Messages:

At all times, ESB Networks crews and staff carry ID cards so please ask to see this ID if our crews need to access your property. If members of the public have any concerns please call 1850 373 999.

If you come across fallen wires or damaged electricity network, never, ever touch or approach these as they are LIVE and extremely dangerous. Please report any damage to electricity infrastructure by calling 1850 372 999.

ESB Networks is acutely aware of the tremendous difficulties and frustrations of communities in areas that remain without power. We sincerely apologise to those affected and we ask the public to reach out to those in their communities that are without supply.

Estimated restoration times are available on the PowerCheck App and on Individual estimated restorations times continue to be available to customers by calling 1850 372 999, hitting option one when prompted. They will then be advised when we expect to restore power to their home or business.  The same service is also available on: For both services, callers will need their 11-digit MPRN to hand – which is on the top left hand corner of every electricity bill.
