Today, Thursday 21st January, ‘Iron Mike’ has introduced My Energy Pal from Electric Ireland, a free app that gives customers insights on their energy usage and helps them understand their energy usage and control costs.
The release of the ‘My Energy Pal’ app comes on the back of a week where the people of Ireland have been intrigued and entertained through social media by ‘Iron Mike’, Ireland’s first ever ‘iron-trepreneur’ and the self-claimed fourteen time ‘World Ironing Champion’, as they follow him around Ireland helping people save energy.

Iron Mike Introduces Electric Irelands My Energy Pal here
The latest in the range of Smarter Living offerings from Electric Ireland, the My Energy Pal app allows users to generate their own energy usage profile, compare their energy costs to similar homes and get personalised savings tips, helping them to control their costs and save money.
Using My Energy Pal, consumers can save up to €117* per year by changing just four simple daily habits; like powering off appliances instead of switching to standby and switching the immersion from bath to sink. (This equates to a weekend flights for two to Portugal with Ryan Air *prices as of 11:41am, 21/01/2016)

My Energy Pal is the latest customer offering to allow our customers to have an active role in managing their energy usage.
