Governance
Good governance provides the foundation for long-term value creation and is a core focus for us at ESB. We aim to align business planning and decision-making with our Net Zero to 2040 strategy and purpose. To ensure effective governance, some of the key actions we are undertaking include:
- Integrating resilience to climate risk into site selection, planning, design, and approval processes.
- Including material sustainability impacts in business approval processes.
- Implementing emissions reduction targets and reporting on progress.
