Our strategy Driven to Make a Difference: Net Zero by 2040 sets out a clear roadmap to achieve net zero emissions. We have an ambition to develop and acquire 1.8 GW of solar by 2030. We continue to develop our growing solar energy portfolio, partnering with others to help deliver this.

Our Solar Projects

Bullstown Solar Farm

Located in Co Meath, our Bullstown solar farm will generate 8.42MW of clean electricity that will have enough capacity to power more than 2,000 homes.

Located in Co Kerry, our Drombeg solar farm will generate 50MW of clean energy that is the equivalent of powering up to 12,500 homes.

Located in Co Longford, our Middleton House Solar Farm will generate 56.6MW of clean power that will have enough capacity to power more than 15,000 homes.

ESB marks construction of Middleton House Solar Farm
