With more than 25 years of telecoms experience, John's expertise spans Business Planning, Strategy, Product Development, Regulation, CRM, Sales, and Partnerships. John was appointed as Managing Director to ESB Telecoms in early 2024, following his previous senior role with ESB Telecoms as Business Development, Strategy and Regulation Manager.  John led the identification and implementation of profitable strategic initiatives, innovative business opportunities and the creation of appropriate products and pricing, as well as the management of key stakeholder relationships with partners, industry fora and industry regulators.  With a demonstrable history of identifying market opportunities and driving high-margin incremental revenue, as well as a commitment to innovation, strategic thinking and fostering collaborative environments, John Regan is well-positioned to lead ESB Telecoms to meet our evolving customer needs and drive sustained growth.  

Andrew is an experienced commercial and technical leader with over 25 years in the telecommunications industry, spanning both fixed and mobile domains.  He brings a proven track record in business development, product management, defining commercial propositions, and agile software delivery. His career has been shaped by a passion for driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and delivering customer-centric solutions.
Andrew is skilled in designing and implementing new business processes that align with strategic goals, and he thrives in dynamic environments where cross-functional collaboration is key. Certified in ITIL, Prince2, and Scrum, he combines structured methodologies with agile thinking to lead teams and projects that deliver measurable impact.

Sylvester has been working in the telecommunication industry since 1998, both in Ireland and internationally with Verizon, BT and Viatel Global Services across multiple disciplines in retail and wholesale market segments. He is currently responsible for the development and implementation of the sales, customer retention and marketing strategies.

Philip joined ESB Telecoms in 2021, having worked in the ICT industry for over 25 years in various roles including operations, planning and design and consultative roles supporting global telecom companies and large Infrastructure builds. Phil is currently responsible for the engineering of the national network, and all things technology. 

He holds a Hons degree in Business and IT,  a higher diploma in Computing and a higher diploma in Finance. Phil is a member of the Irish Engineers Institute (MIEI).

John has over 30 years experience in the telecoms industry, working both nationally and internationally with AT&T, BT (Ocean), Lucent, Motorola, Meteor and ESB Telecoms in a wide range of business management, project management, strategic and technical design positions. Currently leading the infrastructure team, with responsibility for the design, plan and building of the Tower and Fibre networks. Holds a Masters in Business from UCC.

Nicola heads up ESB Telecoms Asset, Governance, Safety and Compliance portfolios.  Nicola has worked in the Telecomunications industry for over 20 years. She has worked across various roles including planning, property asset management and site acquisitions and is currently responsible for the management of tower and fibre billing, licensing, planning and safety teams within ESB Telecoms.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Surveying and a Diploma in Property Economics.
