ESB ecars proud to support the 2020 Electric Vehicle Summit

ESB ecars is delighted to support the annual Electric Vehicle Summit which takes place virtually Thursday 15th October.

Niall Hogan, Head of ESB ecars, will be speaking at the event, along with Eamon Ryan, Minister for Climate Action, Communication Networks and Transport, and other policy makers and industry experts from the UK and Europe.

ESB ecars, supported by Ireland’s Climate Action Fund, is investing €20 million in expanding and upgrading Ireland’s public electric vehicle charging network, in line with ESB’s strategy to lead the transition to a low-carbon energy future.

This year’s EV Summit will address the impact of the global health crisis, deliver an update on new government policy, as well as cover a wide range of subjects pertinent to the electromobility industry going forward. The event is about making the most of the opportunities presented by EV’s, creating partnerships, ensuring stakeholder collaboration and implementing business models to facilitate further adoption into the market.
