ESB Notification: Flow from Inniscarra Dam to increase to 200 cumecs today 28th December

ESB advises that flows from Inniscarra Dam will increase to 200 cumecs (cubic metres per second) today, Monday 28th December, and that based on the current weather forecast this may increase to 250 cumecs or above in the coming days.

We continue to closely monitor the situation and are in communication with the local authorities and response agencies in accordance with our normal operating procedures.

Note: This is higher than the level of flow (180 cumecs) yesterday and between the 6 and 12 December from the Iniscarra Dam following Storm Desmond.
