ESB Networks has restored power to over 768,000 homes, farms, schools, and businesses impacted by Storm Éowyn. Following significant repairs carried out again today, Monday 10th February, a review of our systems show that less than 200 customers, will be without power overnight. Work will continue to reconnect these customers into the night and from first light tomorrow.
Small pockets of customers mainly in parts of Roscommon, North Galway and South Leitrim will be without power overnight. Their estimated restoration times will be updated to reflect this over the course the evening. If customers are in a position to, then we recommend that they check www.PowerCheck.ie for further details.
Given the extensive damage to the electricity network and the volume of repairs completed, we are asking that if customers have not previously reported loss of power to please contact us on 1800 372 999.
The public should remain vigilant to the possibility of unidentified low hanging wires and should these be encountered, please keep away and report them to us immediately.
