ESB, Ireland’s largest EV charge point operator, has strengthened electric vehicle charging infrastructure on the M11, a vital section of the North-South Corridor, facilitating travel from Belfast to the Southeast and Rosslare Europort, with the launch of two new charging hubs.

The new hubs, located at Jack White’s Inn, Brittas Bay, and Bridgewater Shopping Centre in Arklow, provide strategically positioned high power charging options for EV drivers across the region.
At Brittas Bay, ESB has installed four 360kW high power chargers at Jack White’s Inn, enabling up to eight EVs to charge simultaneously.
Conveniently located at the Bridgewater Shopping Centre, the new charging hub in Arklow features two 360kW high power chargers allowing up to four EVs to charge at one time. Together, the two locations significantly increase charging capacity along the southeast corridor.
Both hubs are equipped with contactless payment, ensuring a seamless and accessible charging experience for all EV drivers.
ESB continues to expand its public EV charging network across the island of Ireland, supporting the growing adoption of electric vehicles. The network includes more than 50 high power charging hubs nationwide, designed to reduce journey times, minimise wait periods and improve driver confidence on longer routes.
