Mountain Lodge Wind Farm is a renewable energy project co-owned by ESB and Galetech Energy Services. The wind farm is located between the townlands of Cootehill and Stradone, approximately 15km away from Cavan town.

The wind farm features 21 turbines with a combined generating capacity of 31.5 MW. It can generate enough renewable electricity to power around 20,100 households a year, which equates to some 78% of Co Cavan.

Each year, the operation of Mountain Lodge Wind Farm off-sets the emission of more than 86,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide (CO₂), equivalent to saving on the yearly import of over 19,000 tonnes of fossil fuels.
