Supply to 113,000 customers in the Republic of Ireland and 45,000 customers in Northern Ireland was disrupted, at 14:56pm today (August 20th), due to temporary faults at two generators. This caused the electrical frequency to fall temporarily, resulting in interruptions to customers across the Island of Ireland.
