Supporting Communities

We have a presence in every community in Ireland and we believe we have a vital part to play in supporting these communities to build a Brighter Future and help them reach their full potential.

Education, Inclusion and Employment

We are committed to supporting communities through programmes that enhance access to education, inclusion and employment. We recognise the significant benefit that these programmes can bring in addressing poverty, supporting Ireland’s economy and in supporting the problem solvers and innovators needed to address societies biggest challenges.

ESB Science Blast, delivered by the RDS, encourages children’s natural curiosity by empowering them to investigate the science behind a simple question that interests them, using essential 21st Century skills. It’s a non-competitive, whole class-led STEM programme that is free to enter for primary school classes from 3rd to 6th (ROI) and Key Stage 2 (NI).

ESB has a long history of supporting the arts. We have a large sponsorship portfolio which supports the arts. Our sponsorships in the arts include the National Gallery of Ireland, the National Concert Hall, the Abbey Theatre, and the Business to Arts Awards.

Through each of these sponsorships, we aim to enrich and preserve the arts in Ireland and encourage interest in the arts.
