Chirmorie, in Ayrshire, South West Scotland is one of a number of wind farms currently in development by ESB across Scotland. The Chirmorie development will consist of 21 turbines with the capacity to generate 76 MW of clean renewable electricity. ESB is working in partnership with wind farm developers, including through development partnerships with Coriolis and REG Holdings, to grow its renewable portfolio and has earmarked 800 MW of clean electricity generation in Scotland to support our ambition to transition to a low carbon future.
